1. It starts with a sound…a whisper. The hair on the back of your neck stands as a warning slowly creeps through the fog of mind. ‘something’s wrong’, it says. You look around…searching. You feel the unseen eyes…watching. Your feet feel heavy with each step, your heart pounds desperately…and then the bullet hits you. The bullet pierced my shoulder and exploded in a splatter of blood. I staggered back and as I fell a hail of bullets followed “Take cover”, my unit sergeant bellowed. We took cover as bullets fell from all directions. Two more soldiers were hit – one in the head and the other in his leg. I felt the blood seeping down my sleeve as I positioned for return fire. A Nigerian man identified as Ray Goodison on Facebook, took to his page to narrate an embarrassing ordeal he had with an Almajiri boy in Lagos. In his story, he said; “I’ve never been so harassed in a long time as I was today. I got to obalende at half past 7, this morning, navigated my way through the jammed traffic on the left side of the lagbus garage, headed towards the main taxi park that had vehicles that conveyed people to the Ikoyi environs (For those who are quite conversant with the area). As I was walking, I felt this light but firm grip on my right thumb, followed by another one on my ‘baby finger’. A popular Facebook user took to her account today to advice ladies on the need to see a doctor whenever they notice symptoms such as itching around their female genitalia. In her own words, she advised them thus; “Ladies biko, if you feel itchy or notice signs of infection eg oko T junction Biko gaa hospital. Karmo Market Abuja Was On Fire This Morning

What a tragic day for those selling at karmo market Abuja. At the Early hours of today Karmo market was on fire and not even the fire service could stop it. Despite there effort. The fire which started at about 2am consumed goods worth millions of naira. T he cause of the fire is still not known. Two tankers came to the rescue at first but they could not help it, five Additional tanker later arrived but the market was already burnt down to the ground. The DPO was also called during the fire incident and few police arrived at the scene, the police arrested some of the locals trying to steal some of the goods. May God have mercy..
